meh. There's a million small-time local bands in any given Aussie east coast city that do this better, and theyre all at least twenty years younger.

Well, no one makes a guitar squeal quite like TM and this was only a small helping I'd assume of what they were doing. Not to mention that those Aussie bands you speak of are ripping off the master anyway. That's like saying there's a million and one bands who do rock better than the Stones...kinda redundant.

My excitement is that he is actually doing something like this. For about 5+ years he's been going deeper and deeper into the avant/free jazz and while I can appreciate that, its not what brought me predominatly to SY. Part of it, not all of it. Screeching guitars is a comfort food to me.
