Across the pond, we're delighted to tell you about a couple of other shows while we're over for the Hollywood Bowl. First, we'll be doing a free show in Battery Park, NYC on July 4th. That, of course, is Independence day, and what better way for Americans to celebrate than by having your former organ grinders turn monkeys for the day? Special guest will be Martha Wainwright. As I said, it's a free show, but there will be a priority ticketing system, which I will tell you about as soon as someone tells me about it.

Also, on July 8th, we'll be playing the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Very special guests will be Broken Social Scene and Ted Leo & The Pharmacists. Tickets go on general sale on Saturday May 6th, but there is a presale tomorrow (Wed 3rd) at 10am EST from http://www.belleandsebastian.tickets.musictoday.com. I believe you have to sign up for that in advance, but on the plus side, I'm told the booking fees are less than "other" outlets. Dig? Probably worth doing. You need a password. It is Belletix. Note the scalper-busting use of the letter "x" there...
