I am making this short because I have to be up super early tomorrow. Anyway, tonight i saw the Fruit Bats. Man 'o man where they good. The singer is SUPER talented as well as the rest of the band. If you have thee chance to catch them - DO SO

Also if anyone goes.....go talk to the bass player, chris sherman. He is one of my friends - tell him Thomas Durlach from KZOO told you to go up and talk to him. Really cool dude + He lives in Chicago.

i may have to consider this. that lakeshore theater is a new venue, although not close to the actual lake shore.

I saw them open up for the Shins just as the Shins were starting to make it big, and they announced they had signed their record deal. They were good, but I didn't pursue them any further.

I've only heard that they're boring live. Maybe those reviews came from off nights, who knows.

anything but in my opinion...hell there was an old piano in the back of the bar that no one has played. he gets on back on stage (encore) and asks if it still works....goes over there and does lazy eye on there...fucking awesome
