Listening to Arthur Russell's newly reissued "First Thought Best Thought".
Holy macaroni! I never realized Tortoise existed in 1977. Seriously. Track #11 is especially Tortoise sounding.

The man is one of the fathers of post-rock, I tells yah. Who knew?

First disco, then electro-pop, now 1970s post-rock, and soon, apparently, country! Damn.

Mainly, I just say that because I always say the GY!BE is the father of post-rock. But, I just say that to make it seem like I know what I am talking about.
