Or a portion of it, at least -- about the last :60 or so on the radio yesterday.
I had no idea who it was and was really getting into it.
Sounds very good from the brief snippet I heard and makes me excited to hear more.

Anyone else hear anything?

His site is streaming four songs from the album: http://www.paulsimon.com/player.php WOW. This is going to be awesome. I really cannot believe this sounds so fresh and modern. Eno is indeed a genius. Really, REALLY looking forward to this next week.

Is Eno producing the entire album or just a few songs?

From what I gather, he produced the entire album and contributed to some of the songs' writing.

Rhythm of the Saints too... has anyone listened to this lately? Not only held up, but is less "overplayed" than Graceland.

This single is genious.

if there is only one ysi i download this spring, this has to be it. i'm such an eno freak and this has a nuts amount of potential.

and seriously, get "graceland" and "rhythm of the saints" if you don't already have them. they're both money.

what's the single todd? i'm listening on the website link someone provided and it's pretty cool so far. it almost sounds like a u2 song somehow, and it's maybe a bit too preachy, but it's cool.

I actually ponied up and picked up the single tonight at Borders for a mere $.99. I dig it. The guitars sound fantastic on this. My fiancee didn't like it so much because she felt he spelled out his lyrics too much...ah well. I haven't heard the stream...

I was way more impressed by Rhythm than Graceland in comparison, but I still managed to wear both discs out at the time.

I can't believe you just described Paul Simon's music as "ill".

Upon first listen, this album is no "You're the One" even. That was the album Eno should've produced.

Besides one song reminding me of Dave Mathews (not a terrible thing for me but cringe inducing to others), others reminding me of really tired Adult Contemporary, and the production occasionally being a little too over the top for Simon's voice & style, I found the album to be pretty decent.

AOL has the whole album available to stream: http://music.aol.com/songs/new_releases_full_cds (Along with a bunch of others - so glad I got a chance to hear that new Nick Lachey album!)

just listened to the album for the first time this morning.

i like the music a whole lot. his lyrics, which i typically enjoy, leave much to be desired 50% of the time.

i'm digging on it upon first proper listen. love the lyric "i am wearing my father's old winter coat" at the end of the lead track.

second song is kind of mehing me but i love the eno production, the creativity of that shuffling beat behind the otherwise very conventional music.

i'm digging. i can see this cracking my top 10 for the year.

right at 3:00 of the second song where the quick drumbeat comes back in...ca c'est les bons moments.
