 Post subject: recommend simple drum / bass software

it has to be simple, SIMPLE, so that my dad can use it. Anybody know of any PC based software that fits this description?

lol, no. He wants something that he can use to play guitar along with. Something with some preset patterns he can easily set up. Blues and Boogie kinda stuff.

what about a simple drum machine ie. alesis sr-16 or an old roland unit. super easy to setup and program.
