I just reistened to their first album. I think it is extremely good.

I wish they hadn't broken up. Maybe they were out of ideas or something, but man, this album is so freaking good.

I just had to mention this.

I actually have only heard a handful of songs from Engine Down. I never gave it a good chance and seeing as I am broke, buying anything but new releases is out of the question.

The other thing that is nice about Denali is my woman, Maura. hubba hubba. haha

I bought this album from the $1.99 used bin recently and it bored the hell out of me. Maybe their second one is better but I doubt it.

Just my obpinon. Don't mean to criticize your taste in music or anything.

Anyone want this CD? I'm willing to let it go for next to nothing...

I wasn't getting all sensitive, bro. haha. It really is too bad. I am not too concerned with whether or not people all like the same music as me. I really only posted the thread because I hadn't listened to the cd in a really long time and popped it in last night and it just hit me how much I liked the album. Maybe it's partly nostalgic or something. You know how memories or feelings or phases of life pop up with hearing certain albums or songs? Maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. I will admit, it's not groundbreaking earth-shattering originality and it does move pretty slow. I can see how it would bore people.
