natures. Went on an excursion today to Marseille, Cassis, La Ciotat. Basically some pretty towns along the Mediterranean coast. As I was leaving for this thing I found myself surrounded by a busload of old people, mostly old German ladies and this one old white American lawyer guy. And oh yeah, there was a troupe of 12-year-old Russian students who were damn cool and spoke English (only after they let me make a fool of myself by trying to speak Russian.)

Getting on the bus on the last minute are two Japanese chicks, one of whom was nice but nothing special and didn't really speak much English or French, but the other one...well, we spent the whole day together just walking around , hanging out, her laughing at everything I said. Granted, she didn't have a lot of choice but she chose to spend 8 hours with me.

Anyway, here are some pics. Let me know what you think.

First image is of the candle room in Notre Dame de la Garde, a big church perched on a hill overlooking Marseille.

Irfanview. Download it. It's super easy to use. It's a great little tool. It's free. You can't upload to a site in order to post, but it allows you to resize pretty simply.
