FREE CONCERT

May 20th-21st in Centennial Olympic Park

Line-up:

Saturday: noon - 11 p.m.
Cowboy Mouth
Ozomatli
Family Force 5
Theresa Andersson
Bonerama
Beatin Path

Sunday: noon - 10 p.m.
Flaming Lips
Big Star
De La Soul
The Gourds
The Moaners
American Princes

I'll be skipping Saturday but Sunday looks pretty good and the important part here is that it's FREE.

Never heard the American Princes but The Moaners are three chicks who kick out some tasty blues-based garage rock.

Just an FYI. Did I mention it's free?

One more cool thing in the A I won't be making it to.

Cowboy Mouth must have the greatest representation ever. How do they still get booked into these concerts anymore? It's not 97'.

HAHA! No shit. They aren't really most folks cup o tea around here but every person I know who has seen them says that their live show is great and that they are "so much fun".

Granted these folks listen to mostly Top 40.

Apparently they pack out the mid-level clubs wherever they go. I've never actually seen them or heard a note from them outside of "Janie Says". I think that was their "hit".
