Awesome movie, haven't seen a new action film come out as good as this in a while. The acting was very good, action sequences nearly flawless, and it kept you on the edge of the seat most of the time.

Only glaring hole that I saw was that suddenly Julia, having likely never handled a gun in her life, turns into Tomb Raider mowing down guards and agents...fires off a bunch of shots with no recoil...come on

All in all I give it an 8.5/10

wow. You really thought it was that good? I thought this was one of the worst action movies with below mediocre acting. I mean, there was hardly any speaking in the whole movie. As I stated in a previous thread, Phillip Seymour Hoffman remains to be unfuckwithable as an actor. However, the action sequences I thought were ridiculous.

I give it a 4/10. Although, to be fair, I went after only slightly enjoying the first and rather disliking the second. To each his/her own I guess.

Well, I may have been a little overzealous, but in terms of a summer action movie this one was nearly perfect to me

The gf and I saw it today and I thought it was pretty good. But I like Cruise. And this franchise. The best of the three for sure.

I hated MI2 with a passion. You'd have to pay me to watch this.

I saw it opening weekend and couldn't stop thinking about Tom Cruise and his ridiculous Scientology antics. It really distracted me from paying attention to the movie. The scene where they kidnapped PSH was pretty badass, though. If it wasn't for that part of the movie, I'd call the whole thing a bust.

And if I was about to marry some dude that suddenly kept leaving on business trips and not telling me anything about said trips, I'm pretty sure I'd call it off.

like i said before - it really could have been a great action movie. instead it was mediocre, but still very entertaining

MI3 made me want to see Capote even more than I already did. We just got digital cable a week ago so maybe that'll be the first PPV we order on it.
