So last night, my brother invited me out to dinner which I found a bit strange cause we never do anything together. Well, I decided why not so I met him at the restaurant after work. When I got there, my brother was standing in front of the place with a priest. I didn't think anything of it since I've known for weeks that he's been hanging out with this priest. Apparently, the priest lives in a monastery in Greece, and he's sent to the States for a few weeks to help with Easter and other events. Well, my brother has become good friends with him in recent weeks.

So I wasn't surprised that the priest would be having dinner with us. Was I happy, no, but whatever. During dinner, my brother kept asking me if I'm seeing anyone which I found quite annoying and everytime I would change the subject, he'd make it a big deal. Well now I'm getting really irritated by him but again, I keep my cool. Later on, he finally asked me if there's a "man" in a life. I looked at my brother with one of my evil looks and told him to not be an idiot. Well, the priest then asked me if I was gay. I, being my diplomatic self, told him that it wasn't really his concern. Well, for the next few minutes I had to listen to how it's not appropriate to be with a man and how God wants us to be happy and that being gay won't make me happy yadda yadda yadda. Well, finally after listening to this crap, I took out some money from my wallet, left it on the table, and I looked at my brother, and told him that I'll see him at home. He's my roommate for those who don't know. I got up and left.

He didn't get home until after I went to sleep so I'll see him today after I get home from work. It's gonna get ugly.

I guess you'd better decide to not be gay anymore.

My brother isn't completely thrilled with the fact that I'm gay. He tolerates it but deep down inside believes I'm going through a phase. A phase of perversion. That's what he calls it.
