My day just got awesome

My boss got here at 9:15 this am. Took me out to lunch at noon. Got back at 1:15 then just now said, "I'm done. I'm leaving". Followed by the sweetest words I have heard in years, "You can leave whenever you want. As far as I'm concerned, you were here until 5".

IT happened again. My boss is quitting on friday and she's totally letting me leave and get paid for it. It's great. I am taking advantage of it before some nazi gets hired on and runs a tight ship (with a pool table?)

I've had a few lately. Just got back from partying all weekend up north at my boss' wedding. Didn't sleep last night. Spoiling myself with herb and food today.
