I saw the ad for this too. The episode he did with Beck in the mid 90's where he played all the Stars Wars characters is one of my alltime favorites.

Holy Gwen Stefani.

This is the girl who sang "I'm Like A Bird"?

This shit is bananas.

I always thought Nelly had such a beautiful face in a severe way. Is she photogenic or for real? I see good shots and then iffy ones.

Damn, I didn't even know she was performing tonight.

Looks like I'll have to scan some torrent sites over the next day or two.

according to a neko case interview i read recently, she respects nelly furtado for being the only other vocalist one of her recording engineers worked with who didn't use auto-tune.

Is that the device that changes people's voices? (ala Cher or Britney) Or is it soley to correct pitch?

just watched this; nelly furtado was worse than i expected from the discussions here. Worse than Gwen Stefani. Spacey wasn't bad.

She really went the Jewel route. She just sounds like any generic diva popstar now. Nothing distinguishable about her.

She's distinguisable in the sense that she's writing great songs.

there's plenty to like, but it isn't her music, and it sure as hell ain't the songwriting.

Start at her neck and work your way down.

i always thought that she was hot but she looked more tarty than in the past last night. although she seems to have lost the baby weight remarkably fast, and if we forced the issue i guess that i'd have to admit that i would destroy that vagina like a nest of centipedes if pushed.

Huh. And here I was thinking both of Furtado's new singles are quite clever. Silly me.

Clever in that she's not going to disappear into Adult Contemporary hell. And clever for their production. I prefer her first two albums compared to these tracks, but they certainly are tight dance songs.

If you hear a Timbaland beat in the background, it's clever by default.
