Hey, Bostonians! Why have you been keeping this band a secret from the rest of us? Am totally diggin' on their sound, plus they get my vote for coolest album cover!

Ha, they asked us to play their record release show next month*. They're not really my thing, but I think they're doing what they do well enough. For fans of FranzF, Interpol, Bravery, etc.

* which we are. TT's on 11/4.

These guys have been friends of mine for years, I was actually planning on posting a song sometime soon to see what people thought. I've heard a bunch of their album, and I'm digging it.

I was just listening to "God is gonna get sick of me" and it's probably my favorite song by any of the bands KPH listed above.

Is this the band that used to be called, "Aberdeen" and sounded pretty much like Radiohead?

Not sure about the name, but the Radiohead thing is pretty accurate.

this article isn't entirely true, they have not yet signed with colombia.

yes, they used to go by aberdeen (until the other aberdeen threatened to sue them),
and they are definitely influenced by radiohead, although they don't sound like them quite so much anymore

Just found out that these guys are opening for Langhorne slim and murder by death next month here, but this thread reveals surprisingly little about the band. not a ysi in sight, even.
