Also, I am working on Sunday and wouldn't be able to leave Athens until around 4:30 pm. And I have to come back that night since I also work Monday morning at 8am. And also, this show will be full of annoying hippy-types. I hate patchouli. And BO. And dreads on white people. Unless you are cute. Then you have the go-ahead....

I know Derris is going. I havent broached the subject with the lady yet but I could see us making a game time descision and actually doing it.

Is this at Centennial Park? Shit, if so it might be the best bet to be Smarta and take Marta.

I'm going down there around 3 or so after I suck down some Bloody Mary's at Six Feet Under.

There is also an acoustic stage. The Whigs are playing on that stage around 6.

The Moaners, The Gourds, and the American Princes are also on the bill tomorrow.

The Gourds are the band that launced a thousand bad covers with their bluegrass version of "Gin and Juice". The Moaners are out of Chapel Hill and they play raw blues rock stuff for the Fat Possum crowd. The American Princes play punk infused rock and are on Yep Roc. I haven't heard anything by the last two bands.

Should be fucking beautiful weather. I can almost guarantee a "sick day" Monday.
