hard drive

ok i'm gonna attempt to add another hard drive to my new computer. if i'm not back, ya'll know what happened.

ok got it. does it matter if the slave hard drive isn't in one of the bays? i couldn't get it in because one of the fans was in the way so i just left it kind of hanging there.

That's a really good way to kill the drive. It needs to be secured to stop vibration.

ok i got it secured but when i restart, it won't start up unless i boot it from the master drive.

i printed out instructions on how to install it but it says to go to the CMOS setup program and select auto config drive type. i can get there but there's no option to config drive type.
