The original lineup isn't together anymore, is it?

I really didn't care for their last one. Really liked "I Become Small and Go"

I haven't heard that I Become Small album, but always wanted to. I have no idea if they've kept the original members.

I think only the singer is left from Become Small... I also thought the last one was really disappointing. But I saw them open once years ago for Pavement and I thought I was seeing the future of rock and roll.. so I'll probably buy this one. I really should just give up the moral position and download everything free...

i hope this is good. i didn't really like that last album but i become small and go and their first ep are great.

yeah sharky laguana left after the first album and ian sefchick kept on with it.

they kinda remind me of wheat, who incidentally are also releasing a new album, though i can't find the e-mail where it said they were getting back together. also, i have no idea when it comes out though here's the cover.

I'll take a hit. I liked about half the last one.

That last full-length was slick, slick, slick, but it had some great songs.

Exactly. This new album has less slickness, more swirl.

Here's one that I like:

Yup. 2001. Last time Built to Spill and Tool released albums also for whatever that's worth.

I liked Take Back quite a bit. Thought modern rock radio would be eating "Up All Night" for breakfast.

I dug these guys but had not listened to them for a while until this weekend. PFM reviewed them a little while ago. I think I remember reading they're more pc folksy driven and less slick rock with this new one. Which is a good thing I think.

and this should read :
