Goddamnit. Why do they all air during the summer?

My parents just finished watching American Idol and my sisters just finished watching America's Next Top Model. No more having to overhear discussions and set up the VCR for them and all that.

Literally a week later...

Canadian Idol! Canada's Next Top Model!
