Besides the awful postings. The Mrs. and I went shopping and when we came back, our house was covered in blood. Blood all over the new furniture, blood all over our the the wood floors we just refinished, blood everywhere. I seriously thought someone had been murdered in our house while we were gone. Then we found our dog, Roxie, was seriously wounded. Apparently she put her front legs through the windows in the front door. We rushed her to the vet and he did emergency surgery. The vet said she should be dead She has 30 stitches and we're poorer but I'm just glad she still kicking. So hopefully your memorial day was better. Good night obnerdom.

Damn. That's a good effort since those things are usually a good metre and a bit off the ground.

Cripes. Best of luck to your dog's recovery and to you and your wife in getting everything back in order.
That's terrible.

Something must have freaked her out like a cat or something must have come up on the porch. She really hit the glass hard as I found pieces of it a good 10 feet away. The hardest part is I have to carry her everywhere and she weighs 60 pounds. I probably won't sleep tonight because I'm afraid she's gonna try and take her bandages off.

I worked the rest of the weekend. I was a little discouraged hearing about hot dogs and hamburgers and chips from everyone while I was stuck heating up a frozen dinner and picking the mushrooms out, but that's really nothing to complain about.

Damn dude. My lab has jumped through the screen of an open window before and ive honestly come home and thought about finding him like you did with a window broken out. Bastard gets so worked up by thunderstorms, he literally loses his mind...

Here's to a speedy recovery. How's the cleanup looking?

i had a great time yesterday. stayed in most of the day and caught up on lost, went to see the riverboat gamblers, saw some chick at the bar who i made out with once a few years ago who's now a stripper, psychogirl called and started yelling at me for something and i text messaged her back that she was the biggest c**t i've ever met, gave my friend a ride home and made it back to the local bar in time for 2 more drinks.

God bless microfiber. Any other couch would have been ruined.

Poor pup. Glad to hear that you got to her in time and that she's doing well.

I had a bloody dog once... the trick to clean up is to crawl around at her level since that's where most of the blood generally is. But I'm sure you already know that. Good luck.

my boxer jumped through a window once, i never thought i'd hear of someone else's dog doing that. the vet put one of those funnel things on his head so he couldn't take the bandages off, maybe you could ask about that.

Yikes!

I was going to post about the nail in my tire and how I was going to become poorer when I go to get it fixed.
I'd rather have my situation than yours.
I hoep the doggie gets better fast.
