I am not sure the last time that I ran 5 miles...has to be 5+ years. I am very confident in the ability to run a 5K, little nervous about this race though.

The good news is that it is sponsored by Harpoon brewery and immediately following is Harpoonfest, huge beer festival, assuming I am still alive

i konw with my body i'd be better off not running at all until saturday.
i always run my ass off the first time back after a long break and then suck the next few.

but that's just me. i don't think that's normal.

Is it possible to run this race with a bottle of beer in each hand?

Why don't you just take a cab and get on with your day sooner?

i think you can probably do it as long as you don't kill yourself trying to be fast. It's been too hot to run around here but I want to get back into anyways.

was actually pretty facile...did it in 41 and change, though my first mile was 10 minutes due to all the slow ass people in front of me. Once I cleaered them 8 minute miles from there. I am now hammered, 5 post race brew from Harpoon...time to call a broad I know who has a hot tub
