... playing tennis, throwing frisbee, smoking joints, drinking scotch, in the park, in the sun, amidst shorties, eating berries, not sitting here ...

Your turn.

I feel like golfing today, but I'm stuck in the office.

Conversely, if I weren't, I probably wouldn't.

And so it goes.

I'd rather clean house than attend the funeral and reception I'm about to go to. Don't tell anyone, but I'm gonna bail out early.

At home sleeping in, beside my honey, going for brunch, walking in the sun, taking pictures, going to see X-men 3, writing songs, in Spain again, or on the West coast, ...and at home eating the berries and ice cream we bought yesterday but didn't have a chance to eat. (berries are a good idea, Ishy)

Back in college radio, but paid twice my current salary.

I'm not sure I can hear Five For Fighting's "The Riddle" one more time without a murderous rampage. Probably with the complimentary Chicago XXX paperweight that's on the traffic coordinator's desk.

As it's still grey and shitty here, I'd prefer to be somewhere sunny, but as I have no control over the weather yet, I guess I'd like to be sitting in a bar, smoking a cigarette and listening to something good on the juke.

Drinking whiskey that isn't cold. Autumn breaking, nearly back to winter with all the chills, no heating or heater- ensures my whiskey is cold..

I hate cold whiskey.

I was thinking about that too recently. God I loved doing the college radio DJ thing. I was actually contemplating the fact that ther'e just no radio station I'd want to work at. :(

When your career trajectory moves from once belting a live, drunken version of "Hang on St. Christopher" after being on the air for 92 hours straight to coming up with witticisms to describe Train's "Give Myself To You," the magic has faded.

Even if Jim Brickman/Wayne Brady's "Beautiful" just played and now there's an Atlantic Starr song playing?

Crazy talk, you.

Ah well, I've done other things and always gravitated back to radio. Must be what I know best. Do have about a third of a novel done, maybe that'll go somewhere. Or not.
