I heard it hailed on Neko like a muhfuh and pretty much ruined a good chunk of the afternoon. Hope everyone was able to rebound and have some fun later on.

I went and it was fucking fantastic. Just as good, if not better than last year. Yeah the hail was a huge deal, but it was almost sureal... only adding to the whole experience. Watching a great set by the Constantines while being pelted with raisen-sized hail will forever stand out in my memory. The Flaming Lips were another highlight. Incredible performance. Wayne did his Get-In-A-Giant-Bubble-And-Walk-Over-The-Heads-Of-The-Crowd thing and a wicked cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. Architecture in Helsinki... if there is ever a time when a live act will force you to cum on the spot, this is it. I think the act that I would say had the most energy would be Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, but I was also at the peak of my intoxication at that point. Ben Harper can eat my balls with his 6 hour encore. Becks set just further proved that he may just be the coolest man on the face of the globe, which, in my opinion, hurt his performance. You can't help but notice that he is so fucking good at what he does that he could simultaneously sculpt a unicorn out of ice, eat a ham sandwich, and mow a lawn all while playing his entire archive of songs to an audience of 30,000.

Half the experience of Sasquatch is the music. The other half is the miles of tents set up outside the venue. The camping experience at The Gorge is euphoric. Getting wasted with thousands and thousands of people who are all going crazy thinking about the music they are about to see/just saw is fun as hell. If you have never ventured out to the Gorge for this annual festival, you need to... or you will die incomplete.

This should be placed on the cover of Beck's next live DVD.

SHIT! I forgot about Band of Horses. They wowed everyone, including Wayne Coyne, who stood in the shadows at the side of the stage, eyes glued on the young band. Thats gotta say something...
