Still at work because the station is running one of a series of live broadcasts about efforts to stop the community drug problems in my area.
This one is a public forum in Fort Kent about 45 minutes north of here, so we can't use the Marti antenna, a little antenna that lets us get a crisp, clear signal. Boss decided to go with Yahoo Voice to save money on cell phone bill, since it's a 3 hour broadcast.
Right when a DEA dude was on the podium talking about how kids are finding new ways to use inhalants, the Yahoo signal sped up and the cop's voice got all squeaky for 45 seconds.
I suppose I should have switched to cell, but it was just too funny.
