Fun Trick Noisemaker -- brilliant album.
Perfect noisy, loi-fi pop.
I was just a kid when I was all into this.
Brings me back to a much simpler time.
Anything Elephant 6, really.

YSI coming up for you fellow old folks.

good call. i was just thinking the other day about how i wished the latest Marbles album was good. The first Marbles album, "Pyramid Landing" is brilliant.

aren't they technically still together, sans Hilarie? Speaking of which, didn't she start a new band?

I still love elephant 6, and could always do with more apples in stereo.

yeah i think that's it, and as i recall, it's much better than Secret Square (her previous one-off band) but in the end many people see it as a carbon copy of Dressy Bessy.

i wouldn't mind a new Apples album. Velocity Of Sound was wonderful i thought.

This came out ten years ago. Weren't you in college in like the 80s?

Anyway, I bought this last summer and listened to it once, and then it disappeared. I need to look for it again sometime soon because I probably just misplaced it.

Never really listened to Apples in Stereo, despite going through a heavy E6 phase in college. I guess I listened to NMH, Beulah, Circulatory System and Of Montreal mostly. Maybe a few others, but definitely not AIS.

I've said this before, but the guitar solo on "Whats the #" is one of my favorite of all time.

Robert Schneider was cowriting (and recording?) with Andy Partridge a year or two ago. Nothing released yet.

I still think Discovery of a World Inside the Moone was their best.
