i have a bag of peperidge farm brussels (not as good as the double chocolate milanos), but i don't want to go around my cubicle and ask my co-workers if they want any. it's not that i don't want to share, if they see the bag by my desk, i'll gladly share. it's the act of going around the cubicles and asking people "do you want any?"

anyways, i guess its rude, but i'm just not feeling an effort to offer people cookies today. i always share, it's just i don't want to today.

No, only share the stuff you can live without, like say.... those orange and black taffy candy things the cheap bastards buy at Halloween.

Yeah. Or, speaking of Halloween, share those godawful CandyCorns. God they're disgusting.

Put the cookies in a drawer and put only one on your desk so it looks like that's all you have at any given time. If someone questions your "endless cookie" punch them in the face.

Not sure which cute/funny post to reply to.

Frosted
SP
or
ayah.

Yah'll sound like naughty little pre-schoolers.

(and I love it)

I vote for SP's approach. I have done this before myself.
Me like cookies.

seriously. it's bad enough that the cookies are actually rice cakes, but this fruit nonsense is too much.

Since I'm an only child, sharing just isn't my bag. I had a coworker eat almost all of my nutter butter cookies and then ask a few days after plowing through them, "You ate all of those cookies?" I wanted to punch her in her big dumb nose.

If I've baked/cooked with other people in mind (ie. Z's banana bread), then I don't mind sharing.

I like the idea of a neverending cookie or whatever stacey said. That's a good one.

Because sometimes one must resist the temptation to create inuendo. For example, it is just too easy to try and make a double entendre with the word "come". Like, "Hey Billy, come on the boat". You could do it, but it's just way too easy. Sometimes your statements could be paraphrased as follows, "come".

done.
