We had this yesterday mate. I had a look at the list and The Killers were at no 21. Shocking. Even worse The Kaiser chiefs were at 27. Kids!
I figured somebody had already posted this one. I'm just fascinated by this accompanying blog. Note that somebody has
Nevermind - Pearl Jam as one of their selections:

Best album of all time?

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A poll of 40,000 mostly British voters puts “Definitely Maybe,” the debut album by Oasis, as the greatest album of all time, beating the Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” (No. 2) and “Revolver,” which placed third.
Other albums on the list include U2’s “The Joshua Tree” (No. 11), Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” (No. 35), the Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main Street,” (No. 42), The White Stripes’ “Elephant” (No. 59), Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” (No. 84) and the Eagles’ “Hotel California” (last at No. 100).
It’s your turn. Which five to 10 albums would be on your “greatest” list? Brief supporting arguments accepted.
(No fair if you have to flip through your 8-track collection to jog your memory.)
