Just got back from the Tower Theatre, just outside Phila. Really, really great show. They played almost an entirely different set from the night before (which I did not attend). The girls next to me said tonight's show was better than yesterday's, though. Tons of energy, especially on the new songs, which for the most part were great (there was one I didn't like so much, actually sounded like an elton john song).

Plus, we had great seats from waste. Much better from the last time I saw them where we were so far back that the monitors were they only way to see the stage.

They played Blackstar for the first time in years (that I know of - I've only ever found one live version of the song, from like 1996). They also played The Bends, but most of their songs were either new or from Kid A/Amnesiac.

dude they've beenplaying black star on this tour...this is the second or third time they played it this month.

even so though, i heard it was sick too. i have somefriends that drove downfrom new york for it. the night before was also supposedly very good. can't wait for msgtheatre.
