Why do they taste so good together?

i love my coffee but i can't drink it black.
right now it's coffee & a bagel for me.... yummy.

but coffee + cigs are awesome in the am.

arctic orange milkshake for me.
goodness. so yummy.

you know, when I was smoking, watching people light up when they woke up would kill me. Now I was an experiences smoker with 17 years experience before I quit but I couldnt touch a cigarette until way after breakfast.

But coffee and cigarettes in the PM.. oh yeah..

damn and beer and cigarettes..this is the only time I slip and might light one up

i don't smoke. maybe 1 every year or two.
but i LOVE the smell of a cigarette when it's first lit.

Shit, the first thing I'll do is brush my teet and take a leak, then it's a cig and some joe.

Walk the dog, cig and joe, cook some breakfast, cig and joe.

I am always so THIRSTY when I get up in the morning. I drink like 5 glasses of water!

when I first wake up in the morning I need to talk it down so that I can take a leak then a shower then brush the jibs then coffee and a bagel

ha ha. if this thread with a song by a jamband...the setlist would look something like this:

the taste of black coffee and cigarettes > coffee & bagel > arctic orange milkshake > the first thing i do in the morning > the first thing i do in the morning (the five glasses of water reprise)

Man, i've slopped alot of coffee on myself in the past 10 minutes. Good thing I'm sitting in my boxers. Using my sick days this last week rocks.

like the other girls, i'm always thirsty in the morning, too. i don't smoke or drink coffee, so i drink water all day. maybe an orange soda thrown in for some sugarshock.

I have found that a most effective method is to regale it with the tedium that we will be engaged in that day or castigate it for situations it was in the night before, and usually this has its intended effect rather quickly because while Im not very violent, I have a tendency to slap it around quite a bit at the slightest provocation.

When I smoked, the idea of them in the morning made me sick. Josh used to smoke in the morning and it used to bug the crap out of me.

Oh and yeah I'm a water girl too. Have to have at least three glasses before I get moving for the day.

i've never been able to drink coffee. i get too wired. beer and cigs, or whisky and cigs, now that's somethin special.

i'm a morning cig type of person... i get a headache if i don't have one by the time i finish my first cup of coffee.
