Thought about seeing them tonight. Anyone seen 'em live lately? If so, do they play their pre-1995 stuff? That's what I mostly liked by them. The Elms are opening...a Christian Oasis/Black Crowes hybrid.....

What else would you do if you didn't go?

Not spend $20+ on a potentially ho hum concert. On kind of a budget. But if it's worth it....

If i was Cracker, I'd definitely play "Low" and "Eurotrash Girl".

Is $20 worth that?

In my opinion those are their worst songs. Ick. I've always hated both of those songs.

I've seen them live many, many times. Just not in the last four years. I don't know what they're like now but judging from the shows I've seen I'd say they're worth it. The band is a hell of a lot of fun live.

And odd that you bring this up because just now in the car I heard a new song of theirs. I was rather surprised to know they were putting out new material.

Oh and David Lowery is awesome. He's still a totally cool guy.

I saw them once and they were pretty good. The best thing they did was when Lowery said "yeah we're gonna pretend to go off stage and come back for the encore".

Those guys are playing a tiny club here next week. I liked their early stuff, so I'll probably go check them out. Not too many shows worth seeing in these parts so I'll take what I can get.

I went. Good show. Lowery was a bit under the weather but he delivered. They mentioned that they couldn't remember the last time they've been to Houston. They played a lot of old songs and mixed in some new ones I wasn't familiar with. I left toward the end of "Low" which was about 12 songs into the set. They played a lot of the ones I like ....Teen Angst, I See the Light, Euro-Trash Girl, Shake Some Action, etc....there was a new song they played that was decent called Everybody Gets One for Free. May download that...

The Elms were fine. Johnny Hickman from Cracker seemed to be into them...
