And this isn't about the supreme court.

It's much less significant than that. It's about the show "America's got talent". They vote through a 65 year old male stripper dressed like an Elvis impersonator impersonator. But, they ridicule a 60 year old woman who actually plays the harp decently and sings with a rather pretty voice.

I am angered. But not enough to stop watching this.

I really want to see that show Master Of Champions tomorrow. It looks awesome.

That rapping granny was horriffic. Funny, but horrific.

The previews for that Treasure Hunters show make it look pretty bad-ass though.

I'd say it's about on par with its taste in TV.

The highlight of the evening was the nose flute guy going off on and staring down the judges when they booted him:
"When was your last big hit, Brandy? And you know, Hasselhoff, singers have been known to be tone-deaf!"

I watched a little bit of this last night. Did anyone see the little 8 year old stand-up comedian? Initially it was horrible stuff and then she started wondering why black women are so fat and riffed on that for awhile. I was shocked into laughing.

Yeah. I had the same reaction to her. She was like, "seriously. Stop wearing my clothes". I laughed because I was shocked that an 8 year old could grasp that. I think that there is some suspicion as to the true author of the jokes.

I think he may have been hired to be on the show to do that, to add a little "drama" to the show. I mentioned this to my wife last night, and she thinks he wasn't -- that there are a lot of people out there who think they're talented and/or just want to be on TV.

tonight's show is pure drama! DRAMA! i'm starting to like this show, not because of the "talent" but because it's just plain funny.

ch 5 so you think you can squirt?
ch 7 the one [yeh, just cant think of a good one for this]
ch 9 america's next top eating disorder
ch 11 something with people with appropriately tousled hair and no jobs, sort of liek a soap opera, but after sundown
ch 13 ahh, thank god for the junior cousteau's fascination with whales and pbs' desire to show it

yeah, w/o cable, i couldn't find anything on to watch -- all reality crap.
