Only a slavish disciple of Tim Horton could honestly suggest their donuts could even compare to Krispy Kreme. Smack that dumb canuck upside the head. He probably drinks Blue as well.

I have had both. so I would know. and dunkin donuts don't even qualify. though the mini ones with the fancy icing are nice to look at in their little pink box.

Spot on, DJ. Gotta be a dipshit from southern Ontario making talk like that.

Awesome, your avatar is quite disturbing. Welcome to the board!

I've only had Krispy Kreme and enjoy them when they're fresh. They're really only found in Speedways around here anymore so I haven't had one in years.

I love 'em both. KK's in a league of its own. TH is trusty. I drink a 50 beer. I down a glass of scotch.

I've never had Tim Horton's. Krispy Kreme are only sold at convenience stores around these parts. Dunkin are probably the best chain for the price and selection, but even they are rare in these parts. Chicago on the other hand seems to have a gluttony of Dunkin Donut stores to compete with Starbucks.

I voted for Tim Horton's only because I can be at a Krispy Kreme in 10 minutes and I need to drive nearly 3 hours to get to a Tim Horton's. If I had equal access to both, I'd probably go with KK. I could live on the product of either, though.

The only opinion that could possibly satisfy me is that of an individual who is neither American nor Canadian, who has never had a donut before, and tries both kinds. A variety of both kinds. Not just the honey glazed.

Their donuts are too leathery for me. I don't like the tearing of the donut skin. Krispy Kreme melt in your mouth.

Here they have Baskin Robbins/Dunkin' Donut Hybrid stores, though I haven't yet mustered the pancreas to ask them to whip up a donut sundae.

I would take either of them, but the nearest Krispy Kreme is 400 miles away, the nearest Tim Hortons is 350.

Tim Horton wins.

Of course we do. The entire southwest of Montreal has an aroma of it.

Man, I bet you (would) love some of the QC brasseries.
