Weird. I just thought about this album yesterday---randomly.
You forgot Amy...she sings on it too and co-wrote one song.

Just on 'Toxic Holiday'. And that's one of the "bonus tracks", whatever that means.

Heart?

My favorite album of theirs. And contains my favorite song of theirs, 'Elevator Love Letter'.

When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire.

It's album of the day, isn't it?

Short answer: it's good, but different.

There's no Amy. It's just Torq with Emily from Metric guesting on one of the tracks. It's more electronicy and less poppy. More subdued, I guess.

My dial-up is running a bit faster since the phone line was fixed, so it's possible to start downloading before I go to sleep some night.

One day I will emerge from this dial-up lameness with iron fists of awesome high speed internet glory. One day...

I need to get their entire catalogue, I love Set Yourself On Fire.

Someone remind me to specifically pick this up the next time I'm in a record store please.

I had no idea that Set Yourself on Fire was the same band. I assumed that these guys were completely unrelated.
shame on me.

I don't know, I think you should get Heart before Nightsongs. "Elevator Love Letter" was one of the best songs of 2003.

Seeing as so many of you don't have Heart and haven't even heard Nightsongs, I won't even mention the various EP's they released.

I really like Romantic Comedy. I think Elevator Love Letter is my second favorite on that one.
