So those sammiches are good? I figured they were gonna be nasty.

That frozen stuff is tricky...99% of it is horrible, but if you can isolate the few good 'uns they can be handy.

How much do these cost? I only do frozen dinners if it actually saves me money. Some are surprisingly expensive.

i cant believe that frozen food is cheaper than fresh food. i mean, i can believe it, i just cant believe it.

edit: i know not all frozen food is cheaper, but damn, sometimes i see fresh fruit & veggies and am pretty shocked at the price.

Anything frozen from Trader Joe's is gonna be good. Or at least it always has been in my experience.

i usually don't buy 'em unless they're $2 or less. a lot of fresh fruit, besides bananas, cost about the same for a decent (filling) amount. s.a.d.

I've started buying berries frozen (for smoothies) simply because they last longer and I don't have to cut off bruises and whatnot. It's starts off as the same amount for about the same price but once you've cut off bad spots and throw away the ones with mold, the better value is the frozen fruit.

That's the only thing I buy frozen anymore, though and only for smoothies.

there are some frozen indian meals that are loaded with fat and salt but aren't too bad tasting.

I usually pay around $2-3 for a good frozen lunch. If I eat at downtown at some carryout it usually costs between $7-9, so my laziness cuts into my cd buying money, so I try to be pretty good with the cheap lunches.

People, please check the salt content of what you eat. You'd be amazed. Especially frozen dinners. I used to eat 4-5 of these a day. I was probably getting 4x the amount of salt recommended that day.

Read the labels. Carefully. A can of soup my not look bad at first glance, but when it says one can is 3 servings, be wary. Salty badness.

Check this out. This is just one of the million online articles on how too much salt can fuck you. Up.

I only eat one a day at most. Probably more towards 4 a week.
I love my salt and eat chips and stuff all the time.
My blood pressure is below average.

I'm talking about the smaller, one-course items.

I'm always hungry.
