I understand that she has requested that venues have the air conditioning cut off during her performance (something about keeping her vocal chords warm). I heard, too, that people have been collapsing from heat exhaustion (and that Guy has been sleeping in a separate room because she won't run any air conditioning). Ermm...so, wear something really light and stay really hydrated.

i'd heard this, but didn't know the reason. that doesn't seem to make much sense.
