The Alliance for Downtown New York and River to River present Music at Castle Clinton: Okkervil River

Date: 07/13/2006

Time: 7:00PM

Description: This visionary band merges a folk-rock sound with an alternative edge to create dreamy and reflective tunes.

Location: Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park

Price: Free; tickets will be distributed, two per person, outside Castle Clinton on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5pm on the day of the show.

Why is NY way cooler than LA. First TV on the Radio and Voxtrot, now this?!?! That's it, I'm moving. :evil:

voxtrot was actually pretty boring live [havent heard them on record but dont have much interest after witnessing their set].
seemed like nice kids, but that and 2 bucks will get you on the subway in this town.

i think they performed on the subway, on my way to the bandshell that tvotr night. i think it was the singer and someone else. LOL! they sang a beach boy song, they were quite good.
