2. Tom Waits
3. Caetano Veloso
4. Caesaria Evora
5. Cheap Trick

In no particular order:

PopTodd Wrote:
1. Nick Cave

2. PJ Harvey
3. Burning Spear
4. David Sylvian (Why won't this man TOUR?!!)
5. Velvet Underground

edit: Uh... correction... duh... I have seen Mr. Cave and His Seeds of Badness... it's just I wasn't a fan yet at the time and now I really realy need to see him perform songs from his last record.

I also realize VU is not really a possibility---although they ARE still alive.

One of the best shows I have ever seen. And I'm not even that big a fan.

Wow, Todd - surprised that you haven't ever seen Cheap Trick.

Lessee...in no particular order :

The Knack
TSAR
Guitar Wolf

Can't really come up with 5...that's good, I guess. I've been able to see 90% of my all-time favorites.

1. genesis
[nope, never seen 'em. i suck. hoping for a reunion. maybe if that outdated rock hall-o-fame ever finally lets 'em in they'll reunite for that.]

2. prince
[as much as he demands now, i doubt this'll happen -- genesis would for a pretty penny first. but the wife's also a big fan, so maybe if he swings by next year or whenever we finally pay off the credit card of 4 digits balance.]

3. nirvana
[tough luck. i could've seen 'em in 1993 pre-coma but i was hurtin with school assignments. i = lame.]

from there it's a dropoff to more current favs

i was supposed to have crossed the Deadly Snakes off my list this winter, but those Canadians are afraid of a little snow.
