...at the buskers festival weekend. i've looked up some places that may or may not be record stores - Brian's Record Option, Zap's, Black Box Records.

Anyone been here before? any canadian record-buying tips in general?

i saw cool breakdancers today.

My friend's in Kitchener right now. She goes to school there in the summer and is back visiting some friends right now.

That said, she doesn't go to any concerts or really buy music. If she does, it would be from HMV. So I'm no help.

Driven through Kingston a hundred times, but never really paid a visit. You should visit the Harvey's on Division.

If this thread would have surfaced during the height of ER's popularity, I am fully confident someone would have carpe-ed the diem and started the requisite, "so i'm in alex kingston right now" thread. Probably monty.

Oh, that sounds pretty cool. Who's playing? You have link for that? I will search for it.

I though you were from San Fran.

Be sure to visit John A. McDonald's grave and house, they're on the North side of town. Also, Queen's University has a campus radio station, pop in and groove with the cool kids in town.

For your information, Roberto, ER is one of those shows, same as Home Improvement and Friends, that I never watched beyound Season 1. So, I don't get that reference.

That said, I think that Juice would have had to assume the reins on "banging Alex Kingston" posts.

Ive been passed Kingston a million times.... just last weekend in fact. I've played a show there before as well as visited years ago. It's aiiight. Kinda boring.

Too bad you didn't make it the extra 2 1/2 hours to Toronto. Then you could have visited the rekkid store where I used to work.

i am no longer in kingston ontario. and yet, i forsee this thread going another page or two...

it was cool. the buskers festival is all "professional" street performers, so i saw jugglers, and skateboarders, and breakdancers, and Stomp-wanna bes, and this drummer/bagpipe combo called Squid who were very good. all the performers were really good, though i'd assume they'd have to be, because if they weren't, they wouldn't eat.

Nice find. Is the CD filled out with the bonus ep that accompanied the vinyl? It had the YFFs doing a punky version of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Da".
