in reality, is this "top" list even practical, as for me this "list" changes by the moment but these 3 have, under intense objective & subjective scrutiny & more along the subjective side, to be my top 3 favorite songs considering both all-time & right now.....

1. frogs track 9 from HTDITFH
2. in the morning of the magicians track 5 from YBTPR
3. psyhciatric explorations of the fetus with needles track 2 off CTM

Not a big enough fan to do this. But I must say that I bought Zaireeka and never listened to it correctly. I need to get on that.

Turn it On
Thank You Jack White...
Race for the Prize

This is one of those bands that, like Luna, I usually love when I hear on random, say "I should listen to them more." And then never do.

I'll think about this. No way I can do this off the top of my head but, if I listen to the albums I have this week, I can probably come up with a strong top three.

Heh, yeah, especially the ones off of Transmissions and Clouds.

I'd need the CDs in front of me to do this, but then I'd probably be tempted to list 10 instead of 3.

they are really fun, but guys . . . you made albums before Soft Bulletin . . . and they were awesome albums.

their new drummer is a great addition though, he has a tough task to live up to but he plays the parts almost hit for hit spot on.

You come through. One of my favorite songs on the lyrics alone. I didn't think anyone else would name this one.

I think it's just the guy who playes with them live. Steve Drozd generally plays keyboards and guitar at their shows.

Unless it's a different live drummer guy than the one I saw a few years ago.

Edit: jewels beat me to it

i didn't realize that steven joined so late in the game (for transmission). he's such a huge part of why they are awesome.

(edit: he actually joined them on "hit to death")
