With all the talk that goes around and how many americans blame the constant unrest in the middle east for high gas prices, I thought this statistic is pretty cool. I'm pretty sure american oil companies control most of the oil in Canada and Mexico, or that these corporations have been heavily subsidized by our government in the past. I recall that the US used to own a substantial portion of Pemex's wells until Fox was elected.

I have no doubt that the U.S. will eventually bully themselves further into Canada - but my feeling is it will likely be over fresh water, minerals and lumber.

Oil will just be a bonus.
