Finished their set acapella when the power went out at the Glasshouse not long ago and rose the hair on the back of my neck. One of the best bands in New York. "Intense loft-rock duo - now a trio. Highly complex, but somehow simultaneously dream-like. This band can sound like a Mondrian painting sawd into peices and thrown at you in shards. "Troubleman Unlimited recording artists Zs are a New York band working between the worlds of Avant Rock and New Music. Mostly instrumental, the music often explores the extremes of compositional complexity and virtuosity as well as extended repetition. [ DYNAMITE CLUB ]
The best ever death metal band outta Okinawa. Actually formed in Brooklyn a few years back, these guys are renowned for their on-stage kung-fu battles and ape-shit antics. Expect mayhem, flashes of nudity, and a lot of high-pitched screaming in Japanese.
