They've gone slightly poppy, and it suits them. Not as much rock-out-for-the-sake-of-rocking-out.

Dare I say they've been influenced by Franz Ferdinand.

Anyways, it's a pretty good album, and I can see it growing on me. "Fall To Pieces" could be the best tune they've written.

5 songs in and the only light at the end of the tunnel either says "Only 5 songs left to go" or "Death". I can't tell which I prefer.

yeah, i can see how many folks will hate on this album, but i kinda like the more pop sound.

Interested to see what a "more pop" sound would sound like with them. I thought the first album was a little too poppy.

ooof...i really hoped i wouldn't be, but i think i'm on Team Timmyjoe here. 1st listen = not so good.

i'm not dismissing it completely yet though.

just really disappointed...i loved up all night.

my roommate was playing up all night the other day and i hadn't listened to the album in awhile... it was good to re-visit it.

however, i'm getting around to this new one, and um, 3 songs in - i don't know....
