Sleater Kinney´s last shows are in Portland on Aug 11 and 12. OBV!!!!! they're sold-out. But who has them? The fans????? NO! Fucking scalping bitches. They're going for $40 each on Craigslist. I'm happy to pay $40 to see their last show... But not to those assholes. Online ticket buying is complete bullshit. Dude in fucking ALBERTA!! shouldn't be able to scoop up our tickets... Assholes.

did you try to get tickets right when they went on sale? i thought these were pretty easy to get. i know one guy who got tickets and then bought his plane ticket. that's the way to go.

Plus, if they were only selling tickets at the venue (or in the Portland area), and you're living in Alberta...

Seems like you would've had to buy your tix online too. Don't hate the Game, hate the Playahz...

Um... I think he WAS hating the playahz... but I might have misunderstood him when he said "Fucking scalping bitches." Is he mad at native americans? In Portland?

Definitely...

Especially if I had a "ticket scalping aution participating in capitalist ass", as you so gently put it...

I'd be pissed at having to do it, but would ultimately buy the tix

In the long run, what are you going to kick yourself over more - giving scalpers money or missing the last ever S-K show?

But then, if I was anywhere in the US at the moment I would be seriously considering getting on a plane to go to it
