If you are looking for some time to kill...

I bid on this person's phone that they are selling because I am interested in getting a phone with bluetooth. I receive the following message.

miriam8829 Wrote:
You are close to my reserve price

The Auction ends. Before it ended I watched the auction, but I was not going to pay over $130 total, because I was watching another auction where I got free shipping and a free bluetooth headset, for a $130 Buy-It-Now. So the auction ends back on July 7th with a high bid of $122, but still had not reached the reserve price. Slightly annoyed at this person's solicitation for a bid, I reply to her message:

I wouldn't say $30 is close. If I could give you negative feedback for even sending such a misleading email, I would.

On July 26th she sends me this message:

miriam8829 Wrote:
hey dont think i dont know your bidding on my items with fake names i already reported you to ebay and sent out to them the (the hate email) you sent me awhile back. i took your email as a threat because you said (i wish i can leave you negative feedback for such a dumb comment) . if you continue to make fake high bids on my stuf then i will take action .

And the back and forth begins:

timmyjoe42 Wrote:
I'm not sure how you reported me. My email was not hate mail. It simply said that you should not have sent me an email telling me how close I am to your reserve price when the final bid was almost $50 more than my bid, and it still had not reached your reserve price. I thought that was pretty rude and highly unprofessional as a seller.

As far as me bidding on your items with fake names, I have no idea what you are talking about, and am sure that Ebay tracks IP addresses, and will easily confirm that the only bids placed on your auction items by me came thru my only ebay account.

I'll just chalk this up to your inexperience at how Ebay works and should work.

It also helps in your communication, if you use punctuation, capital letters, and full sentences.
Good luck with your sales.

-Tim

lol if you know ebay so well , you would know that you cant quote antyhing in your messege or it wont send. but anyways like i said i have reported you and i will take action with ebay to make sure your not using fake name anymore. third of all smart guy ! ( you were only $25 away from my reserve. like i said i sent ebay evrythingin my repoert .

timmyjoe42 Wrote:
Why would you think that I bid with a fake name? What motivation would I have to do that?
I apologize that I remembered incorrectly about the difference between the highest bid and my bid. I forgot because it was over 2 weeks ago. The difference was actually $26.97, which I felt was not (close) to your reserve price, because the unsuccessful high bid of $122 was 28% more than my bid of $95.03. So I told you that in a message, big deal. Just because the highest bidder is not a registered user anymore does not mean that they were not a legitimate bidder back then. My feedback rating of over 500 with 99.8% positive seems to show my experience with Ebay is a little more extensive than yours.

Aren't you the guy that routinely posts problems-with-Ebay threads every few months? Maybe you should stay away from there for a while.

Another solution would be to kill her.

I posted 1 time about ebay not working. (that I remember, and it was just a mozilla issue with my cookies.)

If any ebay users out there want to do me a quick favor, send me a PM.

Why are you even dealing with a person on Ebay that has only 3 feedback listings?

Never mind on my ebay/ PM request.

I think he meant, "why did you even bid on an item sold by somebody that has only 3 feedback listings?"

They gotta start somewhere and she had a couple of positives on items worth $100+ so I figured that I would take a chance and bid low. If the person was more reputable, I might have bid more for such an item.

I knew an Irish girl named Miriam and she was cute and fun. She could drink a pint of Guinness like a champ.

If you look at her current auction, there isn't a single bidder yet who has feedback over 100. She's probably the one with the fake IDs. Plus she's obviously fucking retarded.
