So I just bought a cordless PS2 controller but I guess it's on the same frequency as my cordless mouse so the mouse tends to freeze up sometimes and the controller does the same. So I have to decide between one or the other. I'm leaning towards the PS2 controller.

[sarcasm] You forgot the option "I don't give a shit". [/sarcasm]

I'll vote for the one you tend to use the most.

thats tough. you can actually live without the mouse if you know the right keys to press on the keyboard, though. i vote the ps2 controller.

Can't you use both?? You could just unplug the one you aren't using. Sure it'd be a pain in the ass witht he mouse but easy with the PS2 Controller. Do you use both at the same time, ever??

My cordless mouse went bye-bye after I discovered it sucked batteries faster than I suck greased Turkish wrestlers.

I hate cordless mice. There is nothing more frustrating than an unresponsive pointing device, he said phallicly.

Yeah, they'll do that.

Unless the mouse can use some kind of rechargeable battery, I'd say trash it.

You'd think they would work but for some reason they don't. The mouse pointer freezes up on me from time to time. It could just be the batteries but I usually get a popup saying that the batteries are low. And the PS2 controller won't let me input cheat codes on Grand Theft Auto for some reason but it works with the regular controllers. I've had the cordless mouse unplugged for most of the day but the PS2 controller still won't let me use cheat codes, it works fine otherwise.

I really haven't had that much of a problem with the cordless mouse using batteries. I've only changed them once and I've had it for about 3 or 4 months.

Your mouse is unresponsive, but you haven't changed the batteries?

Hmmm I think I know what's wrong here. Seriously, I had to change the batteries on my cordless mouse every couple of weeks to keep it working properly. I'm back to a traditional mouse again.

they have rechargable mice, that when you are done you put it back in a cradle. I'm thinking getting of one of those, but i am afraid I would misplace it like a remotre control.

A mouse having a wire doesn't bother me, much like using a pen at the bank. It's always there.

My brother has a recharable mouse. He did a battery life test and it went a long time without having to be recharged. I don't know the specific length of time, because I wasn't really listening to him, but I'm pretty sure he was impressed.
