this car commercial was the first incidence of me discovering a band through advertising, and still probably the best find. this does not, however, change my extreme loathing for most advertising.

This thread reminds me of watching old Headbangers Ball and 120 minutes VHS tapes, and finding myself more sentimental over the old 80s commercials than I was over the videos.

Air was the first band I heard through a commercial. And I thought it was an elliott smith song I had never heard at first. haha.
