Anyone? I feel like I've heard them before, but it might just be because I've seen them on a flyer in philly or something and said "that's a shitty band name". Anyway, they're opening for the hold steady tomorrow and all the press I've seen has been pretty interesting. considering how well they hit the ball out of the park the last time I saw them, I figure they're probably at least worth checking out.

Somebody gave me their CD awhile ago, but I don't even remember what they sound like.

I'll go over here now.

Country-rock, emphasis on country. It's toe-tapping hoe down material, filled with banjo and brush struck drums. Darren Schlappich is a terrific songwriter.
I can up a reckid or two if you're interested. I'd go with 'Idiots' or 'Adams Hotel Road'. I think they're from the Pennsylvania Dutch Country or is it Berks County. Can't remember which.

Hold Steady huh. Seems like an odd pairing.

yeah, the last time I saw them, Langhorne Slim opened up, and I've heard Tad Kubler (HS's lead guitarist) rave about the Drive-By Truckers more than once. Plus, I'm seeing them in Lancaster, which is probably not far for them at all (They're from Berks, incidentally, which is the county next to Lancaster).
