Sounds good! Doesn't stray far from Linkous' usual style, so I don't see any fans being thrown for a loop or anything. There's a run of really good tunes starting with track 6 that stretches pretty much to the end; and I'll be damned if I can even tell where on here Dangermouse was involved (thank God). Can YSI in a bit.

He's mining the same territory. Still, some great songs here.
The 10 minute instrumental title track that closes the record is outstanding. 3-4 note melody over & over w/added textures. This song in particular is something Dalen would like.

i guess this is as good a thread as any to proclaim my hatred for sparklehorse. i saw them as an opening act 2x and 2x they brutalized me. down with sparklehorse!!!

I've seen'em twice as well and they weren't very good live.

Anything as crazed and out-of-left-field as "Pig" (which I love to death)?

"Ghost In the Sky" is pretty close in style to "Pig," maybe not quite as out there, but a damn good song nonetheless.
