Jesus. I hope his head gets knocked off and into the spit bucket, sorta like in Jason Takes Manhattan.

And at Dallas' Air America Arena (sight of some of the great fights of all time, right? No? )

Listen, I love Evander, and in fact his compound is not far away from where I live, but fucking A.

To tell you the truth, I dont even blame Evander anymore for having this delusion that he can be the champ again--its all about the people around him with their hands out. His longtime adviser and lawyer FINALLY quit him in protest--he had actually switched over to the side of "Uh, Evander its time to hang it up buddy" after years of going on the radio and trying to explain why this mealy-mouthed tomato can should still be getting out there.

Its sad.

Also, Evander Holyfield, hardest head of any human being in history. I swear you could hit that dude with a cinder block and he'd just grunt.

Or maybe it's because the Heavyweight Division is so woeful right now that the 87 yeard old (or whatever age hs is) Holyfield thinks he still has a chance of picking up some belts. Which, lets face it, he has.

I saw the recent Skelton v Williams fight and it was a fucking cringe fest. If my granny put a brick in her handbag so could take these jokers.

Someone needs to get it through the heads of these thick, punch drunk bastards that just because it's called the Heavyweight Division doesn't mean that your training regimen should consist of pulling the Land Rover Discovery into the McDonalds drive in.

The heavyweight division is really bad right now. Even so, I don't think Holyfield should be in the ring and it will be a pitiful attempt at a comeback (even if he wins tonight against a guy who has 11 losses in 35 or so fights).

Muhammad Ali's not going to live forever. Someone needs to assume that mantle of pugilism-induced decrepitude, in a few years, then.

Not that I'll watch it but this fight will be more exciting than any fight John Ruiz has ever/will ever participate in.

Holyfield is a few punches away from becoming the black Crackhead Bob.

He needs to listen to John Gorka's song, Dream Street.
