The announcements should be happening now and I wanna know if Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, and Harold Baines made the Hall.

Somebody here has to have the info.

Spade?
OPA?
Timmy?

Wade Boggs and Ryne Sandberg were the only ones who got in this year.

It's not up on ESPN yet but it's up on the Baseball Hall of Fame's website and I'm too lazy to post it.

Jim Rice just missed with 66%. 75% of the voters must have voted for you to get in. Bruce Sutter and Goose Gossage were behind him.

I can't believe that Dawson isn't in.
He was a fucking MONSTER in the 80's... both offensively and defensively.

Of course, I'm psyched about Ryno; a very worthy inclusion.

I hate the Hall of Fame. It's so subjective and wayyyyy to political when it comes to getting in.

Was Wade Boggs really that incredible? He was solid, don't get me wrong but first ballot great?!?! He limped across 3000 hits in a Devil Ray's uni no less.

Hell Dale Murphy led the majors in the 80's in hits, runs, and RBI's and he's not even sniffing the Hall at this point.

SHIT!........I told myself I wouldn't talk baseball until at least Memorial day.

No Garvey... Much too bad. I just can't wait for next year, when the Bulldog goes up for votes.
Hopefully the Dodgers'll finally wrestle his 55 away from Cabrera and retire it...

Dale Murphy is my childhood hero. No one else even comes close.

I guess they're letting anyone in the HOF nowadays. Sandberg???? C'mon.  He never would have made it if he had ever dove for a ball.  It's easy to never make an error if you only go for the balls that you know  you can get.

It appears to be some sort of statistical progression due to lack of any real candidates over the last few years. His totals went up because the writers must have figured they needed to spend their votes somehow with Boggs being the only first ballot no-brainer this year. How fickle. They shouldn't vote that way (if that’s what is happening). I suppose next year that means Bruce Sutter's totals will increase again and he'll get in.
