Not really, but I see he's playing the California State Fair soon.

Man, I'd like to go just to pretend I like the guy. How should I dress? How should I act? What should I drink? What should I eat?

I vote for wearing a leopardskin loincloth with BBQ sauce smeared all over, with a toy rifle slung over my shoulder and huge buttons proclaiming my love of all things Bush and the NRA. Snakeskin boots too, of course.

Any other (better) ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Make sure you shit your pants and then sit in it for several weeks so you can get out of the draft too.

Just like Uncle Ted did.

i sorta hung out with him once. Not suprisingly, he's a bit of a dick. If you talk to him more than 4 minutes he whips out his little fake honorary police badge and starts bragging about it.

I met the Nuge in 2000. My ex is friends with Kevin Dubrow of Quiet Riot and when QR, the Nuge and Slaughter (mark slaughter!! ::swoon::) were touring together and came to Chicago, we hung out with them after their show. Ted made me very nervous and a woman (I'm assuming she was his wife), wouldn't let any females within 10 feet of the guy. Guess that's what happens when your husband will fuck anything with a pulse. Oh, and he had a HUGE taxidermied (stuffed?) water buffalo backstage which freaked me out. And his show... lots of fun. I'd definitely see him at a state fair, if only to do some high quality, high comedy people watching.

I met him in Northeastern Nebraska at a convenience store during hunting season somewhere in the mid 90's. He didn't whip out a fake police badge, but he did start bragging about his guitar skills and ripping on grunge music after seeing my friend's Nirvana t-shirt. He's a douche and a prick, but in a very humorous way.

Get a little talcum. Borrow it from Malcolm.

When in doubt, whip it out.

Deer urine.

Dog. Eat dog. That, or some Great White Buffalo wings.

I saw him a couple of years ago opening for ZZ Top. I was working security at the Nashville amphitheater. He fired a flaming arrow into an effigy of Saddam Hussein.

That show was awesome. ZZ Top was rad.

I saw the following triple bill while IN COLLEGE (note how Jr. High this lineup is):

Ted Nugent
King Kobra
W.A.S.P.

I just spent the last 25 minutes trying to find quotes from the latest Reno 911 when Garcia and Jones are security at the Ted Nugent concert, but I failed misserably.

The only thing I found was:

Hey, Finchy.

I saw Ted Nugent 1978 -- what an amazing concert!! In fact, that photo you've put up in the thread is exactly how he appeared.

I'd simply add some army fatique to it & replicate the look -- you'll fit right in, man.

You have to see him,

Bill

You know- I really wouldn't mind seeing the guy. I love the disc Stranglehold is on.

And FT? "Dog. Eat dog. That, or some Great White Buffalo wings."

You really should wear a Muse t-shirt to the concert and yell out for "Soldier's Poem."
